BWT donates €250,000 at Licht ins Dunkel gala

For BWT, the work of this initiative is invaluable. For over 50 years, Licht ins Dunkel has been ensuring that children, families, and people with disabilities receive support, therapy services, inclusion projects, and concrete assistance. BWT shares this mission—and they want to send a clear and heartfelt message: for more opportunities, for more participation, for people who need support the most.

Strong performance in the 12-hour challenge

The “Challenge for Light into Darkness” already demonstrated how much commitment and solidarity there is in the large BWT family. An inclusive team of athletes and celebrities completed an impressive 223 kilometers on treadmills, bikes, hand bikes, and rowing machines – raising €89,548 in donations in the process.

BWT was on site with optimally mineralized water and a beWell Bar to support the team and provide fresh energy.

Creating greater impact together

Andreas Weißenbacher's increase of the donation amount to €250,000 made the evening a special moment of solidarity. It shows how important it is for BWT to take responsibility – and how much we as a company believe in the power of collective action.

This support is more than a donation. It is a promise: BWT stands by those who need our help. Today, tomorrow, and in the future.
