BWT AG uses the “_gat._anonymizeIp” suffix to carry out web analyses using Google Analytics. By using this suffix, the IP address of the data subject’s internet connec­tion is trun­cated and anonymised by Google when our website is accessed from a member state of the Euro­pean Union or from another country that is a signa­tory to the Agree­ment on the Euro­pean Economic Area (EEA).

The purpose of the Google Analytics compo­nent is to analyse visitor flows on our website. 3. Social Media

We are present on social networks and plat­forms to commu­ni­cate with and inform customers, stake­holders and users about our services.

In this regard, we point out that user data might be processed outside the Euro­pean Union. This can result in risks for the users, e.g. the enforce­ment of user rights might be more diffi­cult.
