Das Herzstück der AQA drink Pure Systeme ist der Magnesium Filter, der normales Leitungswasser in mineralisiertes Trinkwasser verwandelt. Dieser wird direkt unter dem Spültisch eingebaut und mit der Wasserleitung, der programmierbaren Filterwechselanzeige mit LED-Ring, sowie der Armatur verbunden.
Warum braucht man einen Wasserfilter für die Küche?
Wasser ist Lebenselixier und begrenzte Ressource zugleich. Nicht immer ist Wasser in der Qualität vorhanden, in der es eigentlich benötigt wird. Geruchs- und geschmacksstörende Stoffe im Wasser oder aus Wasserleitungen beeinflussen den Geschmack des Wassers. What is the AQA Monitor?
The AQA drink Pure Sets also include an AQA Monitor, which monitors the filter capacity and signals the filter change. It counts the amount of water filtered through the filter.
The AQA Monitor consists of:
- the flow sensor: monitors the filter capacity
- the counter unit (display): programming and display of the filter capacity
- LED ring on the tap: visual indication of the filter capacity
Can I install the AQA drink Pure Set with a flow heater?
The AQA drink Pure Set cannot be operated with a pressureless under-table storage tank (instantaneous water heater).
If, on the other hand, you have a pressure accumulator or a thermal or hydraulically controlled instantaneous water heater installed under the sink, an AQA drink Pure Set can be used.
Is there also a filter system that I can connect to my existing kitchen faucet?
Yes, the AQA drink Pure filter set can be connected to most existing kitchen faucets. It contains the Magnesium Mineralized Water Filter, which enriches your tap water with the Mineral Magnesium for more taste, and the AQA Monitor, which keeps an eye on the filter capacity. The AQA drink filter cartridge is small and does not take up much space under the sink. It can be installed vertically or horizontally.
However, we recommend using a 3-way fitting (e.g. from Grohe). This allows only your drinking water to be filtered and the capacity of the filter to be used optimally."
What do the lights on the ring of the kitchen tap mean?
The lights on the LED ring of the kitchen tap indicate the capacity of the filter:
- Blue light: during normal operation The filter capacity is sufficient
- Blue/red flashing: Filter exchange necessary soon
- Red: Filter performance is exhausted - immediate filter replacement necessary
What are the advantages of the AQA drink Pure Sets?

Can I replace an empty AQA drink filter cartridge myself?
Yes. Replacing an AQA drink filter cartridge is easy and fast.
- Remove the new AQA drink filter cartridge from the packaging and remove the hygiene cap.
- Before installation, write the date of installation and the replacement date on the nameplate.
- Turn off the water to the filter head and relieve any pressure by opening the drinking water tap Turn the old AQA drink filter cartridge clockwise out of the filter head.
- Turn the new AQA drink filter cartridge counterclockwise into the filter head.
- An Aquastop is integrated into the filter head to prevent unintentional leakage of water.Turn the water back on and rinse the cartridge for at least 2 minutes or until your drinking water runs clear
What are the advantages of the AQA drink Pure Set filter?
The AQA drink Pure Set is equipped with the Magnesium Mineralized Water Protect Filter. The filter is equipped with a powerful ion exchanger and activated carbon filter. This reduces substances that disturb taste and smell, e.g. chlorine, and heavy metals. In addition, the filter reliably removes limescale and thus protects your equipment. The patented BWT magnesium technology enriches the water with the valuable mineral magnesium and thus enhances the taste of pure water as well as tea and coffee in an optimal way.

The modern kitchen faucet in the AQA drink Pure sets is equipped with two separate water channels. You can use the two levers to decide whether you want to tap filtered, mineralised drinking water or normal" cold or warm tap water. Left lever: filtered mineralized drinking water Right lever: unfiltered tap water".
