Clifton Coffee Company was founded in 2001 in Bristol, initially servicing espresso machines before expanding into roasting and supplying specialty coffee. Today, they serve customers across the UK, from independent cafés to Michelin-starred restaurants, offering high-quality coffee, equipment and training.

The Chal­lenge

Because Clifton supports businesses across the country, they often deal with very different types of water in each area. This caused two main problems:

  • It made it harder to protect coffee machines from limescale.
  • It affected the taste and quality of the coffee.
