Do I cover my daily zinc requirements with Magnesium Mineralized Water + ZINC?
The human body needs approx. 300 mg magnesium and approx. 10 mg zinc per day, and even more if there is additional physical strain and stress.
By consuming 2.5 litres of Magnesium Mineralized Water + ZINC, 15 percent of the daily requirement of zinc and 20 percent of the daily requirement of magnesium can be covered (at 17°d total water hardness).
Can I take too much zinc to myself through the Magnesium Mineralized Water + ZINC? Is there a risk of overdose and is Magnesium Mineralized Water + ZINC comparable to a zinc tablet?
By using the BWT filter cartridge an overdose of zinc is not possible. An essential advantage of Magnesium Mineralized Water + ZINC is that the supply of magnesium and zinc is distributed gently throughout the day. The BWT technology is not comparable with high-dose tablets, which can lead to a surplus in certain areas.
What is the advantage compared to dietary supplements?
Compared to a high dosage tablet, which leads to a high dosage of zinc, our Magnesium Mineralized Water + ZINC ensures a gentle release of zinc throughout the day.
For which body functions do I need zinc?
The mineral magnesium and the trace element zinc are indispensable for our health. These two substances play a decisive role in cell metabolism and are required by numerous enzymes. Is Magnesium Mineralized Water + ZINC also suitable for feeding babies and toddlers?
There are no restrictions on the use of Magnesium Mineralized Water + ZINC - it is suitable for all age groups.
Our general recommendation is to boil tap water for babies before use. This also applies to any other BWT filtered water.
The same applies to groups of people with limited immune defences. Here, too, we recommend boiling the water before use.
Does the water enriched with magnesium and zinc falsify the taste of tea and coffee?
Magnesium acts as a flavour carrier in drinking water. Tea and coffee prepared with water from a BWT table water filter can develop their full aroma and therefore taste even better. In addition, the coffee gets a perfect crema.
How does the release of magnesium and zinc in BWT filter cartridges work?
Both magnesium and zinc are released into the water in the form of ions. The quantity released is dependent on the input water as well as the service life of the filter cartridge.
What do I do with the used filter cartridge?
Always observe local disposal regulations!
Filter cartridges and filter filling: Dispose of exhausted filter cartridges and filter fillings in household waste.
Packaging material: If locally possible, dispose of foils and cardboard boxes in the waste separation system. This helps to protect the environment.
Table water filter system: If locally possible, feed the table water filter system into the waste separation system. This helps to protect the environment.
The Easy-Control change indicator is an electronic component that must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations and statutory provisions. The change indicator can be removed from the lid using a screwdriver attached to the edge of the Easy-Control. The Easy-Control should only be removed from the lid during disposal.
